16th January 2026 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: light airs Surf / Sea State: smooth Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny periods Max Speed: Distance Covered: Friday 16th January - walks *** – Picnic and walk at The Dip – sunny periods with light breezes. Friday is Maeva day but I had time to have a ride around Felixstowe to take some weather pics from the Ferry to the docks and my photo of the dock reflection made it oto ITV’s About Anglia my 4th telly pic of the week:) Mag arrives with Maeva just after 11 in her shinney silver trousers and went straight into making, Maeva made biscuits with Mag while I made a trifle as we are all going round friend this evening for a Chinese meal! I then packed lunch as Maeva loves Friday picnic in the van, I drove down to the Manor hoping to park in the carpark but we did not have any money so we ended up at our windsurf carpark at The Dip for lunch while watching two foiling kitesurfers out in the light breeze but despite the sunshine it was chilly! We had Maeva’s little bike so set off towards the Ferry and she made it to the golf course after having fun with the colours of the beach huts before Maeva got grumpy and was still asleep in the buggy! Back home for a warming cuppa while doing a 50 year old jigsaw puzzle before getting ready for our evening out! We had a lovely evening out, the meal was good and Maeva was a star and kept all evening! Photo Album here |
